CMS (content management systems)

This is something we have implemented in a lot of our sites and is very popular. It allows the customer to add or edit pages themselves. Of course, there are limitations to using CMS, if it could create pages as well as a web-developer, we'd be out of a job!

At TRS Design we're a big fan of CMS. It means we don't have to do the small, boring jobs like changing small bits of text or images. The customer can easily just securely log-on with a username and password, and then make small changes at no cost.

We use a forum by myBB for our customers as we believe this is the best forum kit available. It's features are endless, it's 100% stable and secure. Online Directories / Listings

We've built numerous online directories for our clients in the last year or so, all to differing specifications and all have been success stories. The most well known sites are for What's On 4 Ltd providing national UK listings to the parents of babies, toddlers and children for What's On in their area. Cumulatively the sites get tens of thousands of visits per week. Our latest news site, Fodboldens ABC, is a fully CMS interactive web-site (in Danish). With many of the features found on great sites like the BBC News web-site, our news sites contain RSS Feeds, print-friendly versions of all articles, most read articles, most recent articles, "have your say" or comments and much more. The sites custom admin-suite allows the client to add, edit or delete pages, articles, comments and more. The client can upload photos for their articles that auto-resize to display in their respective areas of the site.

Multi-Lingual Sites

With the great support of our professional translators, we are now able to offer more languages than ever before. We've now done web-sites in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Danish, Turkish, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian and Dutch. We have translators on-hand for all the languages in bold!

Professional Photography & 360° Tours

Custom Coded Sites

In some cases we use ready-made kits that we've built ourselves or that are open-source available freely on the internet to provide our clients with the perfect web-site to meet their needs. Other times, we asked for something a little different and that's when we get really excited! Our lead designer and programmer, Toby Stephenson will talk to you in-depth about exactly what you need. Once he has a good idea what you want he'll type away until you have what you asked for, with no compromise and with solid, reliable code.

We custom coded our news site mentioned above that we now use as a kit. Similarly we custom coded all our directory web-sites. In the past we've developed full back-end admin suites that not only run the web-sites smoothly, but run the entire business! We've put code in place so clients can save, print, process and search their accounts and invoices, create mailing lists, run queries by dates, by clients and many other variables to produce data reports.
