Knock-knock, who's there...

I am Toby Stephenson, creator of TRS Design. In 1999 I purchased the domain name trsdesign.com and so my career in developing web-sites began.

In addition to an MSc in Management & Marketing, I have a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design & Technology from Loughborough University. These degrees gave me a solid foundation in business, design and marketing.

Previous to university I was designing web-sites for fun, learning from "teach yourself" books and web references. In the final years of university I was commissioned by local businesses to design several web-sites.

Following university (and a little exploring of the world), I applied for a job with a web-development company based in Granada, Spain. I worked there for two years until it relocated to Yorkshire, England at which point I left and began focussing on realising TRS Design as a successful business.

Today I am still living and working in Granada, though I do spend some time in England. I have clients from all over Europe.
I am the lead designer and programmer at TRS Design but I am fortunate enough to work with some great translators and my colleague Ramón, an excellent programmer and a welcome addition to TRS Design.

The Future? 95% of the work we do has been through positive word-of-mouth so there's no doubt we're doing something right. The future of our business is to grow whilst continuing to stand true to our business philosophy. The aim is to employ more designers, programmers, translators, marketeers and take on more work without compromise of product or service.
